Sumabo Technology’s AiKEY Embedded Module Achieves Apple ACCESS Reader MFi Certification

Taipei, Taiwan — Sumabo Technology announced that its self-developed Apple ACCESS embedded module, AiKEY, has successfully obtained official Apple MFi (Made for iPhone/iPad) certification. This milestone signifies that the AiKEY embedded module not only delivers internationally standard-compliant secure card reading solutions but also seamlessly integrates with the Apple ecosystem, providing a new experience for enterprise access control, transportation, and membership services.

Apple MFi certification is a rigorous approval process for third-party hardware accessories, covering security, compatibility, and quality standards. The certified AiKEY ACCESS module supports Apple Wallet’s ACCESS standard, enabling enterprises and organizations to quickly deploy digital access control, ticketing, or membership card services while maintaining high cybersecurity levels. Users can complete secure authentication and card reading using only an iPhone or Apple Watch, replacing traditional physical cards.
